APPEAL
Hi, my name is Ali and I am one of the volunteers who help out with raising valuable and much needed funds for Canine Crusaders.
I first became involved in September 2005 after rescuing Kye -  a very large, white German Shepherd who desperately needed medical attention..  I am disabled and on benefits so couldn't afford to get Kye's treatment straight away.  I was given Sue's number at Canine Crusaders and, without hesitation, Kye's treatment was funded the next day.  I couldn't thank Sue enough and, so, started to think of ways I could help her.  - So here I am, organising as many Fund-raising Events as I can.
I do have disabilities, Fibromyalgia amongst others, that are sometimes hard to live with but I've found that doing what I can, when I can, not only helps me but also helps relieve some of the pain and suffering that so many dogs in Cornwall have to endure on a daily basis.
There are now quite a few dedicated volunteers that regularly organise events, car boot sales, etc. and I am appealing to anyone who may be able to organise, or help at, an event to please contact me.  Not only will you meet new dog-loving friends but you will find it so rewarding.
We are also in desperate need of any saleable items that we can use at events to aid our Fundraising.
Thank you for taking the time to read this appeal and rest assured that we will continue our work in Cornwall, however difficult it seems at times.

Articles Desperately Needed
Bedding/Blankets + Display Board + Car Boot Items + Collection Pots (plastic type) + Sponsors for petrol / admin costs + Collars /Leads (most dogs come to us with nothing) + Dog Beds
The list goes on and on .....................
Before throwing anything away, please consider us .... we may have a use for it.  Thank you.
